Check shirts

This season everybody has to have at least one check shirt in their wardrobe.
I could not make up my mind between blue and red, so I chose them both.

And to spice up the outfit, add a white beret (SIX accessories).

Navy blue Camaieu skirt

This fold over Camaieu skirt has a classic cut and one can wear it with shirts or blouses. My choice is to wear it with a black St. John jacket in order to give it a chic look.

A nazar ring

A dear friend of mine got me this ring and so I learned the name of "the eye" which, according to Turkish tradition, is supposed to protect from the evil eye.

Fuzzy boots

It's getting colder and I got new boots.

A red dress and Cesar

I have been having a crush on red for quite some time now, but yesterday I found red and something more. A sweater dress with black puppy print embellishment. And not any kind of puppy but the one that always appears in the advertising for dog food - Cesar - and since I never bothered to look for the name of the breed, I call it a Cesar dog.

Stella McCartney dress

Everybody was talking about the best dressed at Golden Globes so I checked the photos. I never had quite an "ah" moment regarding Stella McCartney's collections, but this dress below represents one.

Pimkie sweater

I have been looking for a while for this color in a sweater. Pimkie offered the chance and I took it.

Everybody wants to be a cat!

It is how the song goes. But I also get the feeling that whoever designed this set of earrings and necklace felt the same.

Wear a Romanian style bracelet

I received the bracelet below from a dear friend of mine. The Romanian traditional clothing stands out due to its geometrical figures that were sewed by hand. This bracelet makes no exception either. It has geometrical figures. And the colors orange and beige were obtained from different plants or ecological materials. For instance, the color orange was obtained from chili powder and the beige was obtained from coffee or black tea.

Black and grey

Back to basics. A black skirt with grey patterns matched with a grey sweater and a black belt with white dots.

What better occasion to wear my new black leather boots?!

Make way for the color of the year

Since I love orange, it's very easy to adapt my wardrobe to the color of the year. I started with a sweater.

And to season it up, a pair of woolen socks.
