Yellow Sweater Revival

Sometimes the odds are that the washing machine decides what goes out or comes into one's wardrobe. I know that now after years and years of experience. And so it happens that recently it decided about my husband’s sweater, which went out of his wardrobe and proudly became one of the items in my wardrobe.

I did not want to make other drastic changes to it, so I thought about some ribbon in order to make it look better on my body.

I cut the ribbon into two equal pieces and sew them by hand at the back of the sweater.

Here they are tied into a bow

In order to give it a more feminine look, I made a low cut and sewed by the sewing machine the upward hem.

I decided to sew the cleavage hem by hand.
